In a remarkable gesture of public service, the Area Administration Office has delivered a citizenship certificate directly to the residence of a physically challenged citizen who was unable to visit the office.
Ms. Chandrakala Tamang, a resident of Gaurishankar Rural Municipality, Ward No. 5, has been suffering from physical disability for a long time, making it impossible for her to travel to the administration office. Recognizing her situation, the office took a special initiative to ensure she was not deprived of her fundamental right to citizenship.
A dedicated team led by the Office Chief, Mr. Bharat Kumar Dash, and Computer Operator, Mr. Ishwor Acharya, reached Ms. Tamang’s home to complete the necessary legal formalities. Since Ms. Tamang is bedridden, the citizenship certificate was formally handed over to her husband in her presence.
Upon receiving the certificate at their doorstep, the Tamang family expressed deep gratitude to the administration for bringing government services to their home. Speaking on the occasion, Office Chief Mr. Dash stated, "Our priority is to ensure that no citizen is left behind due to physical or geographical barriers. The administration is committed to providing people-centric services, especially for the elderly, disabled, and helpless citizens."
This initiative highlights the government's commitment to making administrative services more accessible, transparent, and empathetic toward the needs of the public.
